Police have arrested a second person in relation to the aggravated robbery of the Scarlet Lounge in Whangarei last year.
On the night of Tuesday, July 9 two men walked into the Scarlet Lounge on Clyde St and allegedly presented a knife at two women there and demanded money.
They left with cash and other items.
The 36-year-old man appeared in the Whangarei District Court on March 4 on a charge of aggravated robbery and was remanded in custody to appear again on Monday, March 24.

He is jointly charged with a 23-year-old man who was arrested late last year.
