A Hastings driver charged after his truck rolled and flattened an oncoming vehicle on Clive Bridge has yet to enter a plea.
David Keith Davies, 47, appeared in Hastings District Court yesterday and entered no plea to a charge of careless driving causing injury after the incident on June 13.
Gemco Construction CEO Darren Diack was left with 12 stitches to his eye and bruising after his Audi was crushed and shunted 20m into the bridge's railing while heading to work about mid-morning.
Davies also spent time in hospital from injuries received in the crash.
