"Over the years I have gotten to know what foods are best with our beers. In short, Emerson's Pilsner is fantastic with pretty much all seafood as long as there is a lemon/lime or herb connection ... imagine Pilsner with freshly shucked Bluff Oysters and a light sprinkle of lemon juice.
"Bookbinder with a classic Ploughman's Lunch - pickles, Maasadam cheese and bread, London Porter matched with slow-braised beef cheeks or short ribs in spiced chocolate sauce."
He hoped people would leave the event with a greater understanding of beer, a full belly, and greater admiration for the flavours that beer contributes to dishes.
