Shortly after his tweets, Diplo posted a link to a Fundly account started by a fan called Eric Spivak called "Get Taylor Swift A Booty".
A post from Eric on the account page reads: "Taylor Swift Still Needs Your Help! Any true supporter of TSWIFT would definitely not pass up this opportunity to improve her posterior! Spread The Word If You Believe In Magic! (sic)"
At the time of writing, the Fundly account has raised $45 out of its goal of $3,500, including a $10 donation from Eric, and a total of 25 supporters have joined the cause.
This comes as Diplo was recently romantically linked to Katy Perry, who is rumoured to be the subject of Taylor's song Bad Blood, in which she sings about a fellow female singer who tried to "sabotage" her entire Red world tour.
Speaking about the mystery woman in September, she said: "She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business.
"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational - you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."
Following those comments the Twittersphere went into a frenzy speculating Katy could be the woman in question as the 30-year-old singer tweeted: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."
The California Gurls hitmaker was referring to Regina George, the lead character in Mean Girls played by Rachel McAdams.
