Some of Bollywood's top stars are heading to Auckland.
Madhuri Dixit will be joining Shah Rukh Khan - known as "The King of Bollywood" - in the musical Temptation Reloaded.
The one-night production, which was announced yesterday, includes a cast and crew of 110, fireworks and "multiple costume changes".
Nayana Masters, 44, Leena Kapadia, 41 and 14 of their friends will be among the fans attending the Vector Arena show in October.
The excited women plan on dressing up and say their outfits will be "very bling bling" and include "lots of make-up".
Mrs Masters said Shah Rukh Khan, also known as SRK, was a major drawcard for the women, especially given how infrequently such major Bollywood stars travel to Auckland.
Another big fan, Priya Kukreja, said she was looking forward to seeing Khan, who was an "amazing singer".
"We have not seen something like this in Auckland before," she said.
Mrs Kukreja said high ticket prices - ranging from $199 up to $650 for a VIP package - might deter younger members of the Indian community from attending.
Auckland Indian Association president Ashok Darji said despite October being a busy month of festivals in the community, people would definitely go to see the show.
The Bollywood production has already sold out in 12 countries around the world.
NZ publicist Sandra Roberts said the show was expected to fill the Vector Arena, which can seat 12,000.
"It's on track to sell out."
Miss Roberts said the event would be the biggest Bollywood show ever seen in New Zealand.
