Motorists appear to be suffering from fuel price rise rage.
BP says forecourt staff have been the victims of abusive behaviour from customers over recent weeks.
Managing Director, Peter Griffiths, says most of the problems have followed the rise in fuel prices.
In the latest incident, an angry motorist on Auckland's North Shore hit a forecourt attendant with his car.
The man then drove the vehicle, with the attendant on the bonnet, through the glass-plate front doors of the station's shop.
The incident was caught on security cameras, but the car's number plate was not visible.
Mr Griffiths says BP staff have no influence over petrol prices, and should not be subjected to abuse from motorists.
