Staff at New Zealand's largest bank are being treated to the day off to help toast the All Blacks' World Cup win at the weekend.
ANZ New Zealand's chief executive David Hisco said many of the company's 9000 staff had volunteered their time to help Rugby World Cup organisers, and others hosted clients from overseas.
"As a company that's been in New Zealand for about 170 years, helping bring the tournament to the country has been a proud moment for everyone at ANZ.
"This memorable victory has capped it all off. And what better way to celebrate than to take a day off."
Hisco said the day off would be added to staff annual leave entitlements so staff could take it over the summer break.
ANZ New Zealand employs about 9000 staff, represents about 1 per cent of GDP and includes National Bank, UDC Finance, Direct Broking, OnePath, Bonus Bonds and EFTPOS.
