Anthony Mundine won't be pulling any punches during his appearance on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! if interviews used to promote his presence on the Channel Ten reality show are anything to go by.
Mundine spoke to journalists from the Daily Telegraph and Fairfax who were flown to South Africa by the network to cover the show and was asked about his stance on homosexuality.
"My biggest fear is Allah and if Allah prohibits it, then it's wrong," the Islam convert told Fairfax. "I was always taught that two genders together is natural; it's what's meant to be. Male and male, or female and female, is just confusing to society."
Mundine said he had gay friends but had warned them their lifestyle would be judged. "That's their prerogative, all I can do is warn them," Mundine said. "I always tell my gay friend, 'You've got to find a lady ... god will judge you, not me'."
