Simone Fassari and Camilla Pessi were the brains and the performers behind the show Pss Pss.
The duo, who hail from Switzerland, would be performing three times this weekend as part of the Tauranga Arts Festival.
Pss Pss was inspired by the era of silent films and blends contemporary clowning with theatre and circus.
Literary programmer and publicist for the Tauranga Arts Festival Sandra Simpson said tickets were still available for the show.
She said there was no language in the performance so would "appeal to people who didn't have English as their first language".
There would be three showings of the circus performance- Friday 6pm, Saturday 1pm and 6pm.
Pss Pss had been performed more than 600 times in more than 50 countries on all five continents.
