National recognition for Wanganui bolter Te Rangatira Waitokia continues as the 20-year-old has been included in the conversation of New Zealand's biggest rugby performers this year, from Beauden Barrett to Kendra Cocksedge.

The NZRFU's official website, allblacks.com, has published a list of the Form XV for 2016 from across all of New Zealand's rugby platforms, from the All Blacks to the Black Ferns and from Super Rugby to Mitre 10 Cup.

The list was compiled by correspondent Andy Burt.

Waitokia is the only Heartland player in the side, with Burt acknowledging his 12 tries during the competition.

"The electric wing lit up the Heartland Championship with his impressive pace and fine finishing ability.

"The 20-year-old showed that he was more than just a finisher in the Meads Cup final when he hit the line at pace to set up second five-eighth Craig Clare for a vital try in Wanganui's 20-18 win over Buller.

"Waitokia scooped the Heartland Championship Player of the Year prize at the ASB Rugby Awards and is sure to pick up more awards with a long future ahead of him."

Waitokia was included in a team list that included nine incumbent All Blacks, one Maori All Black and four Black Ferns.

The women's players were acknowledged for their unbeaten test season, with Cocksedge having another banner year as playmaker and goal kicker.

While the All Blacks finally dropped a test - the historic encounter against Ireland in Chicago - they completed their season well and Barrett was named World Rugby Player of the Year in November after wracking up 152 points in 13 appearances, as well as guiding the Hurricanes to their first Super Rugby title.

Other powerhouses like captain Kieran Read, lock Sam Whitelock and hooker Dane Coles also featured.

The Form XV is
15. Selica Winiata (Black Ferns, Manawatu); 14. Te Rangatira Waitokia (Wanganui); 13. Rieko Ioane (All Blacks, Blues, Auckland); 12. Anton Lienert-Brown (All Blacks, Chiefs); 11. Portia Woodman (Black Ferns, Counties Manukau); 10. Beauden Barrett (All Blacks, Hurricanes, Taranaki); 9. Kendra Cocksedge (Black Ferns, Canterbury); 8. Kieran Read (All Blacks, Crusaders, Canterbury); 7. Ardie Savea (All Blacks, Hurricanes, Wellington); 6. Akira Ioane (Maori All Blacks, Blues, Auckland); 5. Scott Barrett (All Blacks, Crusaders, Canterbury); 4. Sam Whitelock (All Blacks, Crusaders, Canterbury); 3. Aotearoa Mata'u (Black Ferns, Counties Manukau); 2.
