The newly-named Wanganui Under-11 representative rugby team head into training camp this weekend to prepare for two upcoming home games and an away fixture in Levin. A large number of children trialled for the team and coach Darrell Hoskin had his work cut out selecting the final squad with all the talent available.

They are preparing for two home games against Wairarapa-Bush on Sunday, August 23 and Manawatu on Sunday, August 30 before travelling to Levin to tackle Horowhenua-Kapiti on September 6.

The first training camp will be held at Marton Park in Follett St at 10am on Sunday.
