Wanganui teenager Tara Raj completed a fortnight of top play with her third place in the girl's gross (total score) of the golf tournament at the NZCT Aims Games Championships on Thursday.
After four days of play on the Mount Maunganui Golf Club course, Raj finished on 328 behind AucklandersRose Zheng, who claimed the gold medal with 293 strokes, and Jessica Huang who took out the silver with 321.
The games are held annually in Bay of Plenty for 11 to 13-year-olds.
Raj also finished third in the Girls under-13 grade at the national age grade championships at Manor Park in Wellington the week before.
Gulf Harbour 's Vyan Park was a clear 21-shot winner of the U13 category, and fourth in the under-19 grade.
