It's an interesting field of C4 graded chasers who provides the main 520m (Race 10) action during this evening's Hatrick meeting.

Tima Turtle is backing up from his stylish Manawatu 457m where he defeated a number of open class graded greyhounds.

He has drawn nicely in the two-trap which presents him with sound claims of being able to capitalise on his bonus C4 outing here.

The biggest challenge to him is likely to emerge from Our Gypsy, who aside from escaping from the C5 chasing ranks, has drawn ideally in the one-trap.

That provides her with every opportunity of being able to bounce straight back into form.

Ready Made Size is also benefiting from an easing in class this evening after her Manukau 527m C4/5 miss last Sunday.

She is also capable of making her presence felt in this event.

Others who can add to the race combos here include Asinthe Minded, Fall From Grace and Sedgebrook Magic, who must use the known early pace he owns when stepping from the seven-trap.

Local weekend interest focuses on Manukau Stadium on Sunday, where Top Prosecutor and Cawbourne Brick will represent the region in the $30,000 Waterloo Cup (Race 9) at Group 1 level.

Top Prosecutor adopted catch-me-if-you can tactics when leading throughout to win his Hatrick 520m Waterloo Cup heat in 30.25s.

He has drawn trap-four for Sunday's assignment from where he must again lead his rivals out in what is an extremely even, competitive field.

Cawbourne Brick finished stoutly to book the second position available for the northern trip.

He wound up 1.5 lengths behind Top Prosecutor and he won't object about drawing the three-trap on Sunday.

Cawbourne Brick owns a proven Manukau 527m track record.

The field is so even that a winning claim can be made for all finalists and the ultimate result will more than likely be decided during the all-important charge into the first turn.
