It will be one of the Aramoho Bowling Club's biggest weeks in March as three teams attend the Bowls NZ Interclub National finals in Auckland.

After the Bowls Wanganui Inc centre qualifying, Aramoho's Premier 1 men, Premier 2 men, and Premier 1 women have all qualified for the finals.

The Premier 1 teams will go into Division 1 at the nationals, while Division 2 is for the club's next ranked side.

Bowls NZ said this system is designed to encourage the growth, development and participation of players throughout the country who wish to demonstrate pride in their club.

In Auckland, the Premier 1 men's side will be in the first section against the winners of the South Otago and Northland centre qualifiers, with 26 teams in total across seven sections.

The women's team are drawn against the Far North and Central Otago club qualifiers in a 23-team competition with six sections. Premier 2 men will face the Marlborough, Central Otago and Wairarapa qualifiers in a 24-team grade, also six sections.

The club is now looking to raise the considerable funds to send their teams to the event.

The tournaments will be held March 19-21.
