The West Coast Bombers will take another big step up in competition this afternoon as the development squad of the best club in the country comes to town.
Travelling from Auckland, the Broadside Brawlers from the Pirate City Rollers club will meet the Bombers at Jubilee Stadium in an all-women'sbattle.
Spokesman Phil Murphy said the Brawlers are the B team of Pirate City, which is New Zealand's oldest league and the highest rated local team in the Women's's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) world wide rankings.
"This will be the Bomber's biggest challenge since their inception two years ago."
