TROPHY WINNERS: Fiona Gifford-Moore, from Kawaroa Park, New Plymouth and Whanganui's, Rod Bannister claim their gender open titles at the Squash Central Regional Open Masters.
Whanganui athlete Rod Bannister continues to dominate masters squash in Central Districts after again winning a competition he has made his own since 2011.
The Whanganui A1 player first won the Men's Squash Central Regional Open Masters title in 2011 before the competition was placed on the backburner until it
was returned to the squash calendar in 2014 with a trophy up for grabs.
Bannister won that season and over the weekend at the Wanganui Squash Club won the trophy for the third consecutive year.
Bannister won in his usual entertaining style in the final against SquashGyms' Jason Fletcher three games to love.
In the Women's Open first time Central Masters winner Fiona Gifford-Moore, from Kawaroa Park in New Plymouth, took out the honours over SquashGyms' and district coach Sally Stantiall.
