Both a new and a familiar face will contest the Men's Senior final as the Castlecliff Golf Club hosts finals weekend this Sunday.

The 2013 defending champion Ricky Gowan will take on Dennis Sharrock, who is new to the Senior final's arena.

Gowan made the final by beating Craig Osman, no easy task with all his Pennants experience, while Sharrock defeated Neil Forlong.

In the quarter-finals, Forlong had eliminated representative golfer Tyler Lock, which was the major upset in the senior division.

The Intermediate final sees Richard Lane take on Warwick Goile, after they beat Stu Watts and Matt Carroll respectively.

The Junior A final will be contested by Grant Clark and Warwick Kenny, while Junior B sees Russell Terrey and Keith Travers battling it out.

It will be seen in the Ladies Silver Final if Amber-Rose Thompson-Newth can defend her title against Lyn Gordon.

Thompson-Newth will have youth and national experience on her side, while Gordon has years of top golf and won't lie down.

The Bronze 1 title has Gill O'Kane taking on Mary Halvorson and Bronze 2 has Carol Kenny out to defend her title against Suzanne Muirhead.

All divisions are played over 36 holes, with prize-giving around 4pm on Sunday.
