The normal Friday evening greyhound action continues at the Hatrick Raceway this evening with a rather even looking twelve race card.

And as usual, the TAB Quaddie runs over the final four races with the fields involved presenting an intriguing challenge to punters.

For example, any one of the eight sprinters engaged in the first leg (8.25pm) could easily win without surprising.

Holding the key is the locally trained Sassafras, who benefits by an easing in class, plus gaining a kind draw here.

If she can sniff out the early race lead, then she can lead them throughout.

Others who can make their presence felt include Slangevar, who can swoop from his wide draw, while Direct Response, Boiled Lollies and Cawbourne Tank deserve consideration.

And don't disregard reserve runner Stumpy Kashcow if she gains a race start in this dash.

The form line for some of the likely favoured runners in the second leg makes for rather bleak viewing.

However for a number of them they will enjoy the easing in class they receive here.

For example the nicely drawn Regal Dancer has been contesting open class events recently.

This field is a number of notches below that elite class.

Bigtime Whizz was badly impeded during the early rush last Friday when she was escaping from the open class chasers last Friday don't risk her here.

And it would be foolhardy to ignore the claims that both Thrilling Ava and Thrilling Tune hold in this event.

Cool Charmer has recently regained her known sharp sprinting ability and she can handle the return into open class sprinting in the thirds leg.

Run Lacey Run gamely chased home a slippery sprinter last Friday and she has drawn to go one better tonight.

If Inisfree can make a swift beginning then he is talented enough to lead them all-the-way.

Moody Man has a tendency of winning his sprints at odds and this is the type of field where he can do exactly that.

If there is a Quaddie anchor, then Complicit can lay claim to that in the last leg. His last two wins here have been classy and he is poised to make it a hat-trick of Friday wins here.

However, if he does make a mistake at the jump, then the likes of Rosemore Osti, Donna Baxter and Mirage can capitalise.
