It is guaranteed to be the last 2015 national championship decided in this country as the delayed Roller Hockey NZ Nationals begin on Friday at Jubilee Stadium.
The Wanganui club will have four teams spread across the three divisions for the nationals, which includes players from new clubs in Hastingsand Palmerston North.
Local spokesman David Dench said scheduling changes meant last year's nationals could not be held until now, so this will still be the 2015 version, with this season's event scheduled for September.
The Premier division will consist of Wanganui, Wellington, Papatoetoe and New Plymouth, while the second division has teams from those same areas except Wellington.
The combined Youth/Ladies grade will be contested by Wanganui Ladies, Wanganui Youth, Wellington, Hawke's Bay and 'Papaston North' - a combined Papatoetoe and Palmerston North team.
Games from 3pm to 7.30pm on Friday, then pick up again at 8am on Saturday and carry through until 7.50pm, with a break around 4.50pm for the Roller Hockey New Zealand AGM.
