Riders show their appreciation to the Red Cross

Wanganui Motorcycle Club president Colin Matthews was pleased to hand $800 to Dave Harrison of the Red Cross on Sunday.

The club held a special sprint cross event at the Motorsport Domain, which was attended by 60 riders.

All the entry money went to the Red Cross as a thank you to the organisation attending their 12 events every year.

Matthews said without Red Cross being there, the club would not be able to run its events.
