Marton's Nga Tawa Diocesan School continues to produce a stream of award-winning equestrian athletes with the latest claiming the Dressage NZ Fiber-Fresh Young Rider Level 2 and Above for the Wellington region.
Lilly Jefferies won the title on her talented pony Prima Magneto after accumulating more points than her rivalsthroughout the series.
Nga Tawa equestrian master Libby Rayner said Jefferies' win was significant and well deserved after the work she and her pony had put in.
The victory comes hard on the heels of school mate Brigitte Smith's win in the New Zealand Endurance Young Rider 2 Star over 120km at the nationals in Taupo, and Claudia Hurley's overall win in the MT Section of the New Zealand Pony Club Championships.
