Six of the country schools had another fun day in the sun at the annual West Cluster Athletics event at Cooks Gardens last week.
Held for pupils aged eight to 13, with the goals being participation and having competitive fun, the children took part in six disciplines around the grounds.
High jump, long jump, quoits, vortex, sprints and a long distance race were all held.
After competing, the children are given points depending on their placement during the event and this is totalled up at the end to find the winner.
Event organiser Aimee Loveridge, from Mosston school, said the day is always fun.
