After three days of action at Wanganui's Springvale Stadium for the 2014 HoopNation tournament, the party goes on for the 10 players who will travel to Malaysia this month.
The HoopNation New Zealand team will play in the Malacca International Tournament in Kuala Lumpur, being selected from 28 players whoregistered interest in being chosen before the Wanganui event.
Four squad members come from the Palmerston North team Thats Us, including leading NBL players Matt Te Huna and Sid Adams. Thats Us made the Pakaitore-Whanganui Men's Premier semifinals at HoopNation before being eliminated by Auckland's eventual champions, Choppers.
Three players come from Hawkes Bay team Rack City, and two from Auckland's Rangers.
Guest player Jun Iwasa, the point guard for the Japanese national squad, turned out for Kaia at HoopNation before heading home to Tokyo, so will link up with the team in Asia.
