"Totally not disappointed with how they went for a young team."
The Cullinane College girls team went to an invitational tournament in Taupo over the weekend, also getting to meet members of the New Zealand Women's team who were attending for an adult tournament.
Cullinane lost 26-20 to Rotorua Girls' High, and 31-5 to Tauranga Girls' High.
They did defeat Te Wharekura o Ruatoki 22-5, scoring four tries.
Next on the agenda will be the under 15-18 Wanganui sevens representative tournament, being held at Cooks Gardens on November 14.
They will face two teams from Wellington, one from Taranaki, and a Feilding Agricultural High School team.
