The weekly guaranteed $10,000 TAB Triple Trio is proving rather tough to strike, with just a percentage of the pool being paid out.

The Triple Trio requires the first three placings in Races 6, 7 and 8 to be correctly selected.

A common strategy used is to pick a banker (which must finish in the three) and then include a number of others to fill the other placings.

Percentage betting greatly lessens the cost of the outlay.

As mentioned, this evening's Triple Trio at Hatrick Raceway starts on Race 6 (6.45pm), where the box draw suggests that Legerdemain holds sound place claims after being allocated the one trap to leap from.

She has earned a stake in two of her three races from that trap and she ran a close up second over the 305m dash last Friday.

Figlia is required to overcome the tricky five trap here.

She is more than capable of being able to do so following her brave 305m win here on Tuesday.

Mercenary has recently dropped back in class, therefore include him, while both Azure Dreams and Hey You hold place claims.

Either Allegro Max or Cawbourne Wales could be used as the banker in the second leg.

Both greyhounds own solid 520m track form and both have produced similar winning 520m times.

Thrilling Ava has been sighted finishing stoutly in her recent 520m.

A similar finish can see her earning a stake here.

Applause won't object about being drawn in trap six, while Uno Charm is facing a rise in class here after her bold lower grade 30.70s win in the 520m last Friday.

Blue And Curly led into the straight, then he was run down late when sprinting over 375m at the Manawatu Raceway on Monday.

The 305m dash here is ideal for him.

Wild As Angels is a competitive sprinter on this track and will enjoy drawing closer to the rail.

And a similar comment can made for Allegro Master.

Enazuma is likely to lap up racing alongside the rail here, while the winning sprint that Chocdee Alice produced here last week suggests she can deliver a bold effort after leaping from trap eight.
