Wanganui Target Shooting (TSW) will be hosting over 100 shooters and managers this month for the North v South smallbore target shooting challenge to select a team to meet England.
The challenge will be held from August 14-16 at the Okoia range, with the New Zealand team to compete onSunday, August 16, being chosen from the North v South matches in the Open, Women, Junior and Veteran categories.
Three TSW-affiliated shooters have been chosen for the North Island team.
The RSA club's Graeme and Raewyn Simpson will be in the veterans team. It is the first time Graeme has been selected and the second time for Raewyn as a veteran and her 21st selection overall in national teams.
Gary Cuff, from the Marton club, will also be in the veterans team for the second time.
