Brunswick School twins Luke and Caleb Squire were rewarded for their talent on the water by sharing the Junior Award at the Wanganui Sailing Club's annual dinner and prizegiving at the weekend.
Results were all points-based over the 2015/2016 season with the Squire boys sailing in both Optimist and Bicyachts. The brothers jointly won the cup for Best Junior Sailor. Luke took out the trophy for Best Optimist Sailor while Caleb claimed the cup for the Optimist Handicapped Events.
The club also presented the boys with watches which will enable them to time their race starts.
The boys are looking forward to next season and are expecting to be challenged by the increasing number of juniors who have joined the club recently.
