The Bowls Wanganui representative teams will be hoping to make a clean sweep of the regional trophies when they host the visiting teams from Manawatu, Taranaki and Wairarapa today.
Out of the two senior teams and two development sides, only the Wanganui senior men did not keep hold of thesilverware at last year's tri-series, when the Arnott Shield went home with a very strong Taranaki team.
The Development men's team retained the Duckett Shield in their competition. Meanwhile, the women's teams came back to parity as the senior team won their tri-series, as did the under 8's development squad.
This year, Wairarapa have sent teams to the women's competition at the Castlecliff BC, turning the two competitions into quadrangular tournaments.
