Cool temperatures and wind were expected to continue into Wednesday with “a bit of a chilly feel”.
A weather system would move through on Wednesday, bringing rain to most areas, but likely clearing by the end of the day.
“Into Thursday that weather system should have moved through so weather conditions should remain dry,” Makgabutlane said.
The high for the day was expected to be 21C but there may be a “chilly” on-shore wind.
“Things also look to remain clear on Friday,” Makgabutlane said.
“The morning could be on the chilly side.”
A high of 20C was expected.
