Two car crash blocks Liverpool St intersection in Whanganui

The intersection of Liverpool St and Harrison St is blocked after a two car crash.

Emergency services are attending a car crash on the corner of Liverpool St and Harrison St in Whanganui.

Police were called to the scene at about 4.53pm on Monday.

Two cars were involved in the crash and ambulance and firefighters are also in attendance.

A police spokesperson said the intersection was currently blocked but has since re-opened.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the crash.
