Truck and cyclist involved in crash near City Bridge and Anzac Parade intersection

Emergency services have responded to a crash involving a truck and cyclist in Whanganui.

Police were alerted to the crash which happened at the intersection of Anzac Parade and City Bridge around 8.20am on Wednesday.

Police staff directed traffic for a short time while ambulance staff attended to the cyclist.

A St John spokesperson said one person was transported to Whanganui Hospital by St John with minor injuries.
