Three injured after truck and trailer and car collide on State Highway 1 near Mangaweka

Three people were injured after a crash on State Highway 1 near Mangaweka this morning.

The truck and trailer and car collided just before 5am.

St John took two people with minor injuries and one in a moderate condition to Whanganui Hospital.

The crash brought down a tree that blocked the road temporarily. The road is now clear.
