A truck transporting cardboard has tipped on Whanganui's London Street/State Highway 3, sparking delays for motorists.
The road was closed between Victoria Ave and Glasgow Street shortly after 2pm on Tuesday, with contractors working to lift the vehicle back onto its axles.

The road initially remained open immediately after theincident around 9am on Tuesday morning, with a number of police at the scene ensuring motorists remained clear of the truck.
