Police have confirmed they are investigating reports of two shots being fired from a vehicle in Whanganui's Matipo St.

It was reported the shots were fired at another vehicle at about 8.25pm on Wednesday.

There were no reported injuries and Police are now making inquiries to locate the vehicles and people involved.
