Wanganui Motors' sales manager Murray O'Hara's dedication to his customers has been recognised with a national award.

Wanganui Motors' sales manager Murray O'Hara's dedication to his customers has been recognised with a national award.

Wanganui Motors is celebrating a national win for its sales manager Murray O'Hara.

O'Hara received one of five national awards for Ford dealers, winning the sales manager and sales experience category.

"I was pretty stoked to receive the award on behalf of Murray for the work he does," dealer principal Mark Quirk said.

"It recognises his dedication to our customers and the brand of vehicle we sell. He is well thought of and it's a fitting reward for all the work he does looking after our customers."

It was the first time a separate award had been given for a sales manager, Quirk said.

He was also pleased that Wanganui Motors won the "distinguished achiever" award for the dealership, recognising car sales, parts sales and customer satisfaction. Excellent customer service was a key focus for the dealership.

O'Hara, who has worked for Wanganui Motors for 18 years, said he wanted to thank his many valued clients for their continued support.
