Ha at the Unclear

Ha at the Unclear

If you're like me, then moody music's most appealing in winter. That's when you have time to listen to the intricacies of it through a decent sound system, inside, and the emotions portrayed in the songs reflect your demeanour while enduring a lack of vitamin D.

From the opening track, Where Were You When I Was All You Needed?, Ha the Unclear have captured the trials and tribulations of 20 to 30-year-olds, trying to be adults but still finding the world too bloody confusing to take it seriously.

You won't find a disappointing song on Invisible Lines if you're into catchy, dramatic guitar and bold male vocals, in a Mint Chicks or Cut Off Your Hands kind of way. You'll also feel right at home with song titles like (All Our Friends Have Moved to) Australia.

I highly recommend this album with a warm, woolly jersey, a full teapot, some quiet time and a chip on your shoulder.

Rating 4/5 stars
