A Whanganui property has been placed under "low-level" controls in the fight to contain Mycoplasma bovis.
But the Ministry of Primary Industries says there has been no detection of the disease in the Whanganui area.
About 30 properties - all but one in the South Island - have Mycoplasma bovisand last week MPI confirmed more than 20,000 cattle will be culled in a bid to contain the disease.
An MPI spokesperson said the Whanganui property which was under movement restrictions was identified as a result of tracing activity from other affected farms.
"There is a property in the Whanganui area that has been placed under low-level movement controls restricting the movement of risk goods off the property.
