Motorcyclist falls down bank near Raetihi

Emergency services were called after a motorcyclist crashed off their bike, falling down a bank in Raetihi on Thursday evening.

The crash happened on Alexandra Rd just before 7pm.

A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said the motorcyclist had come off their bike and fallen five metres down a bank.

They provided scene protection and medical assistance on site.

The motorcyclist wasn't injured.
