The person who died in a car crash on a rural Manawatu road has been named by police as Jacqueline Bridgette Carrie.

The 27-year-old was from Palmerston North.

She was killed after the car she was travelling in collided with another vehicle at Tangimoana Rd near Taylor Rd just before 8am yesterday.
