The Latin America and Spain Film Festival is returning to Whanganui.

Now in its third year in Whanganui, the film festival features movies from Spain, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Cuba, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina.

Entry to all films is free. All films are in Spanish except the Brazilian film which is in Portuguese - but they will have English subtitles.

On October 15 at 7pm there will be a celebration at Sarjeant on the Quay which will be attended by officials from the Spanish, Chilean and Argentinean embassies. There will be Latin American music, and food from Latin America and Spain.

The film festival has been very successful in its last two years, with more than 1200 people attending last year.
