This evening's main open class 520m event at Hatrick Raceway has a more open look to it with last Friday's winner Bigtime Paddy being allowed to take the night off.

Again the field is dominated by Lisa Cole-prepared greyhounds, with the Race 10 box draw favouring Bigtime Jason.

He is capable of jumping onto the early pace from the two trap, as is his kennelmate No Time Toulouse, who will exit from trap three.

Making her open class chasing debut here is Bigtime Tears, last Friday's smart 29.98s winner over 520m.

She is likely to be sighted pushing up onto the early pace from her seven trap draw.
Bigtime Forest has scored an upset here before and being allocated the ace trap has enhanced his stake claims in this event.

The open class sprinters contest their 305m dash in Race 8.

The Cole-trained Sir Duggie will start as a short price favourite following his meet best 17.35s win over 305m last Friday. He has drawn nicely in the two trap.

It was good to see his kennelmate Bigtime Crackem delivering his 17.49s win last Friday when he resumed from an extended spell.

He would have benefited from that outing.

Bigtime Blue jumped straight into the race lead and was never headed when he delivered his 21.70s Monday win at the Manawatu Raceway.

He will be loaded away into trap one here.

Bigtime Blackie is provided with swooping claims from the eight trap here. He has compiled a respectable record from that spot.

The Race 9, C4 520m, line up is extremely even where a post-race podium case can be made for the majority of the contenders.

It would pay to overlook the recent misses that Bigtime Wendle has returned.

She was a finalist in the recent NZ Futurity and she has been provided with her first career trap one draw.

Bigtime Wendle owns sufficient early pace to take advantage of her kind draw.

Ask King Jeff finished strongly to land his first win since crossing the Tasman for Cole.

He faces a rise in class, which he can handle after his Friday 520m win in 30.29s.

Quistis Bale is a proven chaser at the top level for Matt Roberts and her claims here cannot be lightly dismissed.

The two Angela Turnwald-trained runners Arden Emgrand and Cawbourne Palmer , who was Monday's strong 26.28s winner over 457m, are both capable of featuring at the business end.
