Two of the Wanganui Boys and Girls Gym Club's prospects are Nelson-bound next month for the National Championships.
Crista Yum, 13, will be competing in the Women's Step 6 division and Amardin Firaza, 12, will enter the Men's Level 5 division.
Both gymnasts have been selected to represent Whanganui-Manawatu inthe championships, joining three gymnasts from Palmerston North and one from Taihape.
In a press release, the club said Yum is excited for her first trip to Nelson and is looking forward to meeting competitors from other regions.
The beam is her favourite apparatus, while Firaza's forte is the high bar.
