Former Wanganui running coach Alan Rubick has admitted to 27 sexual violation and indecent assault charges and 20 charges of possessing objectionable material.

The pleas were entered in Whanganui District Court on April 14.

Rubick, 64, pleaded guilty to one charge of indecent assault on a boy under 12, three sexual violation charges, one count of indecent assault on a boy aged 12-16, 11 counts of indecent assault on a young person, and 11 counts of indecent assault on a child.

Rubick had the sexual violation and indecent assault charges laid against him in September last year and the objectionable material charges in March. He is represented by Stephen Ross.

His next appearance is June 1.
