The stayers provide the feature greyhound action tomorrow evening as they chase after Group 1 glory in the $30,000 Wanganui Distance (Race 9) over the extreme 755m journey.

Two Canterbury trained stayers dominate pre-race discussions.

Dyna Weslyn indicated she is regaining race fitness following a recent seasonal spell when she took control of her 645m rivals here two weeks ago, coming away with a 37.80s win for trainer Craig Roberts.

Prior to her spell Dyna Weslyn, had very stylishly won a couple of 725m races on The Meadows track in Melbourne against quality opposition.

She is likely to take up a forward early position from trap two here.

Master trainer Ray Adcock has his stayer Perfect Result humming along perfectly at the moment.

Two races ago he demolished a field of Addington 732m stayers when he cruised to his effortless win.

He backed that up with a strong Ascot Park 630m victory.

Roberts' son Matt has accepted here with Cawbourne Taylor and she looms as a sound podium finishing contender.

Cawbourne Taylor is generally sighted finishing solidly and she has place in two of her previous three 755m staying assignments.

Iris Allen placed in both of her previous 755m attempts, which came at Group 2 level for her trainers Gary and Sandra Fredrickson.

She is likely to press on at the business end here.

Angela Turnwald is currently enjoying a Group 1 winning spree and she'll be represented by two stayers in this event – with the erratic but at times brilliant stayer Mija Sydney looming as her leading contender.

An exciting field of promising greyhounds will contest the other feature event this evening with the final of the $8,500 NZRS Graduation being held over 520m (Race 7).

Last Friday, Lisa Cole prepared all three heat winners, with the outstanding youngster Bigtime Rocco being the headline act with his slick 30.08s heat win.

That was his eighth straight career win and drawing trap two says his unbeaten record will remain intact tomorrow evening.

Cole's other heat winners were Bigtime Forest (30.42s) and Bigtime Tank (30.58s).

Expected to have derived considerable benefit from her track debut heat outing is Go Glow, from the strong Canterbury based kennels of Dave and Jean Fahey.

Go Glow pressed on soundly for her five length heat, second to Bigtime Forest, however it was in her previous race that illustrated her ability when she won the Otago hosted version of this final over 545m.
