Fordell School House and Garden Ramble sold out

Fordell School's House and Garden Ramble is a sell-out.

All 200 tickets have been snapped up by people looking forward to seeing open homes and gardens in the Fordell area near Whanganui tomorrow.

Just two weeks ago Fordell School principal Yvette Moorhouse said that half of the tickets had been sold and advised that people keen on participating bought tickets quickly.

Tickets to the event were $35 and it is a fundraiser to help the school on Budge Street purchase IT equipment for its students.

The event is sponsored by Bayleys Whanganui and will allow ramblers to visit 12 properties in the area, where they will be able to visit either a house, a garden, or both.

Everyone who purchased a ticket will go in the draw to win a Weber barbecue.
