There were 138 new community cases of Covid-19 in the Whanganui region on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health.

Fifteen people were in Whanganui Hospital with Covid-19, according to the Ministry.

Nationally, there were 9953 new community cases.

Throughout the country, there were 767 people in hospital with Covid-19.

The Ministry reported the deaths of 32 people with Covid-19.
