Many of those race wins came from greyhounds who received their initial chasing education at the venue.
Obviously, a fair slice of the phenomenal $1,434,468 kennel stake earnings the Cole-prepared greyhounds had won prior to yesterday was secured at Hatrick.
With only the odd exception, the Cole kennel mainly relied on greyhounds they had bred, reared and educated on their property to make their outstanding achievement.
An example of that breeding success can be gauged by the operation having the top three New Zealand-bred greyhounds during the season, while they produced seven of the top eight Kiwi-bred greyhounds in the country.
The massive campaign is basically a family affair, spearheaded by Cole's husband Brendon, while daughters Georgia and Ella walked numerous miles on the race tracks and handled literally thousands of food bowls over the last twelve months.
Cousin Jess Cole undertook the numerous Sunday road trips to Auckland during the season for the Sunday racing at the Manukau venue.
The kennel is very appreciative of the huge amount of help they receive from other industry participants over the season.
On many occasions the kennel had race fields with numerous greyhounds accepted in, which required outside handling assistance.
A classic example of that was the recent Wanganui-hosted $11,000 NZRS Advanced final, where 16 sets of collars and leads had to be dished out by the kennel to helping handlers after having all eight greyhounds engaged in the 520m feature.
The onslaught of winners for the operation shows no signs of abating as in the new season their current strong racing team will be joined by a large number of youngsters who are currently going through their final education procedures prior to commencing their racing careers.
The bulk of those youngsters will be unleashed at the Hatrick Raceway.
