Champion boxer Joseph Parker spends day shooting, flying and boxing before going bush

Joseph Parker takes the controls of a plane at the New Zealand International Commercial Pilot Academy.

It was first stints as a student and then as the teacher for Joseph Parker on his second day in Whanganui.

The champion boxer got some lessons at a local shooting range before getting in the cockpit of a plane at Whanganui's International Commercial Pilot Academy for a lesson in flying.

Parker then spent the evening at the Awa Kings boxing club giving a talk before leading a training session.

He and his entourage then traveled to a lodge last night before two days of hunting in the bush.

Parker spent the morning at Te Manu Atatu's Māori Business Breakfast at Parnell's Cafe.
