A car went over a bank after colliding with a truck on Roberts Ave on Tuesday afternoon.

Whanganui Police were called about the accident just before 4pm and they arrived at the scene shortly after.

St John personnel evaluated the people involved in the crash. There were no reported injuries and no one required further treatment.

The road remains open and the cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
