Breakfast with French flavour helps boost funds

Breast cancer survivor Beks Flavell is absolutely delighted at the success of her Pink Ribbon Breakfast, which has so far raised $1700.

Miss Flavell, along with her fiance Josh Kay and her mother Lyne, hosted the French-themed fundraising breakfast at Mrs Flavell's house on Saturday.

Thirty family members, friends and neighbours attended the breakfast and feasted on fresh fruit, french crepes, croissants, and other French-themed goodies.

As well as good food and conversation, there were quizzes and games to entertain guests.

"The response has been overwhelming, it's been awesome," she said.

All money raised goes to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
